Finders Events uses cookies and similar tracking technologies (including local storage and pixels) for the following purposes:

• Essential Cookies: Required for the Platform to function. These enable core features such as user authentication, session management, security protections (CSRF), and cookie consent preferences. You cannot opt out of essential cookies as the Platform cannot operate without them.
• Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how visitors interact with the Platform — which pages are most popular, how users navigate, and where errors occur. This data is aggregated and anonymized. We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-2QE1G964ML) with IP anonymization enabled as our analytics provider.
• Functional Cookies: Remember your preferences and settings (such as language, region, search filters, and display options) to provide a more personalized experience.
• Marketing Cookies: Used to deliver relevant advertisements and measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. These cookies may track your activity across websites to build a profile of your interests. We only set marketing cookies with your explicit consent.

3. Region-Based Consent Defaults

We detect your country (via Cloudflare's geolocation header when available, or your browser timezone as a fallback) to apply the appropriate consent model:

• Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland: We operate under a strict opt-in model. Non-essential cookies, including analytics cookies, are not placed until you click "Accept All" in the cookie banner. Dismissing the banner or selecting "Essential Only" means only essential cookies are used.
• Visitors outside those regions (e.g., the United States): We operate under an opt-out model consistent with CCPA/CPRA. If you dismiss the cookie banner without making a choice, we place analytics cookies to help us improve the Platform. Advertising and marketing cookies remain disabled until you explicitly choose "Accept All." You can opt out of analytics cookies at any time by clicking "Essential Only" or "Cookie Settings" in the footer.

4. Specific Cookies We Use

Browser Geolocation & Local Storage: In addition to cookies, we use the browser Geolocation API (with your explicit permission) to detect your approximate location and personalize vendor search results. Your coordinates are sent to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service for reverse geocoding only and are never stored on our servers or in cookies. The resulting city/state name is held in temporary browser memory and discarded when you navigate away. You can revoke location access at any time in your browser's site settings.

5. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies are placed by third-party services that appear on our pages. We do not control these cookies. Third parties that may set cookies include: Google (OAuth sign-in and Google Analytics 4 usage measurement), and Stripe (payment processing on Concierge checkout and vendor subscription pages). Please refer to these third parties' privacy policies for information about their cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking on any site by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on.

6. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can manage cookies in the following ways:

• Cookie Banner: When you first visit the Platform, our cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, limit to essential cookies only, or (outside the EEA/UK/Switzerland) dismiss the banner to allow analytics cookies.
• Cookie Settings: Click the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer at any time to reopen the banner and change your preferences.
• Browser Settings: Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking essential cookies may prevent the Platform from functioning properly.
• Do Not Track: We honor Do Not Track (DNT) signals sent by your browser. When DNT is enabled, we disable non-essential tracking.

To reset your cookie preferences, click "Cookie Settings" in the footer, or clear your browser's local storage for this site and refresh the page — the cookie banner will reappear.
